Help with Self-Directed Support

MECOPP’s 3 R’s Project

MECOPP’s new Self-directed Support legal rights project, “The 3 R’s Project”, is able to support individuals (carers and/or the supported person) who have encountered difficulty accessing or using Self-directed Support.

The project can:

  • Provide advice and information on your legal rights under self-directed support, human rights and equalities legislation
  • Undertake casework on your behalf to support resolution of more complex issues. The project is unable to undertake litigation on behalf of individuals
  • Refer you to legal organisatons if resolution cannot be reached.
  • You can download the  project leaflet here.
