Fire-walking is as old as humankind. It helps overcome fear and self-doubts, builds your own confidence and is a night to remember for years to come. For the participant it’s not just a firewalk, it’s an experience for both mind and body. For Carers Link it’s a way to help us raise funds.
You will have a 90 minute workshop so that you know what to do, and then cross the two metres of hot coals (it can usually be covered in a few steps). You can walk over the coals more than once if you wish. You can also step off at any time!
We are holding this event in conjunction with Allander Rotary. The cost of registration is £50 per person but Carers Link will pay £40 of this, making the cost to yourself £10. However, we will require you to commit to fundraising at least £100 in order to recoup our registration and other associated costs – somewhere in the range of £150/£250 would be great. Also for this reason, we are limiting the entry to 1 person per family, unless you feel strongly that you would be able to raise twice this amount and could fundraise as 2 individuals.
Book below and we will be in touch to confirm your place.
