Carers – Seasons for Growth

Seasons for Growth

Exploring the seasons of grief

Seasons for Growth is a programme of sessions to help you understand change, loss and grief. Grief is often associated with death or bereavement, but it is in reality the process by which we come to integrate and adjust to any significant loss in our lives.

The programme provides an opportunity for you to :

  • Better understand and manage your particular experience of loss
  • Learn about Worden’s Four Tasks of Grief and the significance of these as you work through change and loss
  • Value your particular story and realise that life, like the seasons, is always changing
  • Explore the importance of feelings, memories, forgiveness, transformative change, choices and support networks in adapting to new or changed contexts in your life.

We have run one workshop which was very successful, and are now planning to run a 4/ 6 week programme in the late summer.  If you are interested and want to find out more, please email Rose@carerslink.org.uk or call 0800 975 2131.

We are normally open Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.00 pm, but appointments (by phone, in person or online) out with these hours can be arranged. Currently mail is not being picked up from the office on a regular basis so if possible please email or phone us. During evenings and weekends, if you or someone you know requires urgent social work support, please call 0800 811 505.
