Carer Support Worker (Groups)
Do you enjoy meeting with people? Do you like a job that gets you out and about, and keeps you busy? Do you want a job that is fun and makes a difference?
Carers Link is seeking a Carer Support Worker to keep our Take Five project going. Take Five wants to give carers the chance to take short break from caring to concentrate on their own wellbeing – in particular social isolation. You will be responsible for delivering our Carer Café’s held throughout East Dunbartonshire, as well as monthly outings and activities – and of course the planning and administration involved in organising everything.
Take Five is made possible thanks to the Social Isolation and Loneliness Fund 2023-26, which is funded by The Scottish Government and managed by Impact Funding Partners.
Fundraising Co-ordinator
We need someone that can motivate others to support our work, that can build long-term relationships with donors and local businesses, and who can turn ideas into fun events or grant applications to raise much needed funds.. You need to be enthusiastic, a good communicator and able to travel throughout East Dunbartonshire. Experience of fundraising or sales/marketing useful.
This is an exciting opportunity to build on our recent fundraising successes, and after recent local authority funding cuts, help Carers Link build back stronger to give local carers and families the support they need and deserve. This is a job where you can make great things happen. A job where you can make a real difference.
Please email enquiry@carerslink.org.uk for an application pack.
