We offer a variety of training sessions covering neurodiverse conditions such as Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia.
This session will look at how to formulate a support document for your individual, highlighting strengths and challenges. It will provide models and advice on content and uses. The session is generic but will focus on people aged 16 and over with a diagnosis themselves (or a suspicion of such) and those caring for an adult.
This is a follow on session which assumes that participants have attended the 6 week basic SAND (Supporting Autism And Neurodiversity) course. It will be delivered via Zoom in partnership with DIFFERabled, and places can be booked by emailing differabledscotland@gmail.com. Please include your name, postcode (only first three digits) & a very brief bio on what the benefits of the sessions could support you with (e.g. My name is Jean, postcode G62, & I am mum/dad/carer/grandparent/aunt/uncle etc. of a daughter/son etc. who is aged 4yrs/35yrs, diagnosed/undiagnosed with whatever neurodiverse condition.) This will give an insight into where to aim the sessions.
