Be sponsored to do something!
- Carers Link is the 1st Charity on the West Highland Way. Why not walk all, or even part of it?
- Run in a half marathon, 10k or 5k
- Give up chocolate, shave your head, wash cars.
Whatever you do you can be sponsored to do it. If you know someone who is going to walk or run in an organised event, please ask them if they would consider being sponsored for Carers Link. Carers Link also organises events, and you can find out about these on our fundraising events page.
Organise an event!
- Hold a coffee morning or a race night
- Guess your colleagues from baby photos or guess the Teddy’s Birthday
- Have a second hand book sale or clear your attic with a boot sale
Whatever your event, if you are interested in organising something to raise funds for Carers Link, please phone us free on 0800 975 2131. We will be glad to hear from you and will be able to help you help us!
Join one of our events
Carers Link organises fundraising events, and you can find out what we’re planning on our Fundraising Events page.
Fill one of our ‘Coins That Care’ boxes
Our boxes are a great place to empty your purse or pockets of heavy spare change. And if you leave one somewhere prominent in your home, other people may drop coins in as well. When it’s full, you can either pay the cash in at a bank or bring it in to the office. If you would like a box, please call us free on 0800 975 2131 and we will be very happy to post one out to you.
You can fundraise while you shop. Carers Link has benefited to the tune of nearly £2,000 from people doing absolutely nothing other than using easyfundraising every time they shop online. Over 2000 retailers are signed up and will pass a donation to your chosen cause (Carers Link we hope!) when you shop with them. You’ll find most well-known retailers, including Amazon, Argos, M&S and John Lewis to name only a few. You can sign up at EasyFundraising.
You can also raise funds for us whenever you search online. Use easysearch every time you search the web and they’ll give 50% of the fees paid by their advertising sponsors to Carers Link.
