This week we have a sweet office banter episode for you! Lauren, Christine, and Paul joined Katy and Jon to talk about their favourite chocolate bars and much more. Play along as they take on Katy’s chocolate quiz and see if you can spot the mistake we made with one of the “correct” answers.

This week we have another Young Carer takeover for you! This time, Sam spoke to Janine from Education Scotland, Hannah from Carers Policy, and Kelly from Carers Trust about how the education system in Scotland is working for and with young carers. They discuss changes that have come about during COVID-19, what schools are doing to keep young people safe, and how organisations work together to provide the best support possible to young people and young carers.

We ran over time a bit this week so Hannah from the Carers Policy Team at the Scottish Government has provided written answers to some of the questions we didn’t get to ask. Click here to read them.

This podcast is about all things technology and how Carers Link can help connect carers to technology and each other! We spoke to two of our tech buddy volunteers, Helen and Sharon, to hear about how they’re working to get carers connected during the pandemic. And carer Frank told us about his experience working with a tech buddy to learn more about technology.

If you’d like to learn more about technology and how we can help you, get in touch by emailing us at or by calling our tech support hotline at 07592040703!
