The Carers Care Home Forum is for carers who currently have a relative or loved one in a care home.
It is a great opportunity for carers to meet others, ask questions and share their experience of care homes. Representatives from EDC – Social Work team, who are the direct link between the council and care homes, will also be present to share their knowledge and experience of the care home sector.
We would also encourage anyone who has recently had a loved one move into a care home to join us. Your experience of the transition process is invaluable, in providing feedback for others including EDC staff and care homes.
