📢📢🤩🤩Get on Board🤩🤩📢📢We are appealing for volunteers to join our trustees that donate their expertise and time to support unpaid adult and young carers in East Dunbartonshire.Thanks to all of our trustees for giving their time to make a difference to carers. We have made a significant impact in East Dunbartonshire over the last 20 years supporting around 7,000 carers and our trustees have played a significant role in making this happen.Our charity provides a range of vital services to carers of all ages from as young as 5 to over 95, comprising information, advocacy, one to one support as well as groups and activities for both young carers and adult carers, who live or care in the area. We are looking for people that might understand the impact that caring may have on a family either directly or seen the impact on others. Our current trustees have a wide range of caring, business, and health backgrounds and all of these skills have been useful in driving the organisation forward.Volunteering with Carers Link is great opportunity to share expertise and to give time to support unpaid carers, children and adults in the community. It gives carers the chance to have a short one to one meeting with a solicitor to ask questions or seek legal advice on issues such as Power of Attorney, Guardianship, Wills, Care Home fees and related issues.
