How Carers Link can help
When you contact Carers Link our staff will to talk with you about the type of help or information that might suit you best. They can help you think about your caring role, consider the support options available and review things with you as you go along. You can read about how we can help in our booklet Looking After Someone.
Talking with others is a fundamental part of our lives, yet caring for someone can be an isolating experience. Whether you have recently become a carer or have been caring for many years, Carers Link aims to provide you with the support which best suits your individual situation and needs. We know that caring and/ or work commitments can make it difficult for you to meet us, so we will meet with you whenever and wherever is convenient. And if it’s easier for you to talk to us online, by phone or by email then that suits, too.

Adult Carer Support Plan
All adult carers in Scotland have the right to an adult carer support plan which considers your personal circumstances and caring role, and identifies your needs and the support that is available to meet these. Carers Link can discuss these with you and prepare your plan.
We are normally open Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.00 pm, but appointments (by phone, in person or online) out with these hours can be arranged. Currently mail is not being picked up from the office on a regular basis so if possible please email or phone us. During evenings and weekends, if you or someone you know requires urgent social work support, please call 0800 811 505.
